“I’ve been waiting for you to decide, but sometimes, not making a decision is making a decision.” – Sara Sidle, CSI
I had almost forgotten about it. Over the last three weeks I had fared relatively well, falling into relapses only every once in a while when a memory was provoked.
But then I got in to work three hours ago, looked at the calendar and saw, with much apoplexy, that today is the day the latest issue of the newsletter would have been sent to the printers if it hadn’t been for the powers that be swooping in at the eleventh hour with demands to revamp it.
And then I remembered today.
Today is the day I can say, “At least I didn’t wait a whole year.” The strangest part of all is that I’m not sure if it’s a good thing.
But at least I still have yesterday.
