Her fate resigned

Amy Winehouse (1983 – 2011)

For the loss of someone so incredibly, heartbreakingly talented, but who was eaten alive by an industry we are still flossing for today, and its inability to help those who were succumbing to the depths of its evil.

Be in peace, Amy. You were just too talented for this mortal world. You may have lost the gamble with your life, but you have always won our hearts.

For you I was a flame
Love is a losing game
Five-story fire as you came
Love is a losing game

Why do I wish I never played?
Oh, what a mess we made
And now the final frame
Love is a losing game

Played out by the band
Love is a losing hand
More than I could stand
Love is a losing hand

Self professed… profound
Till the chips were down
Know you’re a gambling man
Love is a losing hand

Though I’m rather blind
Love is a fate resigned
Memories mar my mind
Love is a fate resigned

Over futile odds
And laughed at by the gods
And now the final frame
Love is a losing game

Fools like me

I did, I can
I was, I am
Only human, living, dying
Just like any fool who ever breathed
If love is blind
If love’s a drug
It always is, it always was
Maybe it’s the sanest thing
Or just the sweetest kind of dream
But love was surely made for fools like me

Sneak peak: My new house

Because I’m too tired, too disoriented and too overwhelmed to really write about it, I’m going to leave you with a sneak peak of the new house in Challis Damansara:

This is, obviously, the dining area, which will look significantly different in a few weeks, so you must content yourself with this shot first.

Keep checking in to see what the finished product will look like!
